Design thinking is a tool made to optimize the design process. We go through 6 phases, first 2 bubbles is to gain knowledge about the issue or customer. The next two bubbles are where you, based on the knowledge you have recieved develop your concept and design. And the last two bubbles are the execution of the idea, and the feedback you recieve from the customers.
POV
"How can I make a piece of jewellery reflect the exhibitions of Design museum Denmark, which can be used as a part of their brand make-over?"

MOODBOARD
Weaving goes through both in furniture and fabric.
Which connects the fashion and fabric exhibition with the permanent exhibitions on design museum danmark.
Fabric: Anette bendixen 1990
Furniture: Børge mogensen.

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
logo
"Their customers are based on their exhibition at the moment. By using the location and online media it is possible to get a wider range of customers."
To help attract more customers, it would be beneficial for Design museum Denmark's shop to have its own identity, this would be useful especially on social media to generate sales and the number of visitors. It needs clear signing and preferably also an integrated logo of its own, using elements from the Design museum Denmar.

Examples of logos
A sub-logo would make the shop easier to recognize. This will also send a message to new potential visitors that it is more than just another average museum shop, working as a teaser to attract people randomly passing by or stumbling across their Instagram page.

HUNCH
The golden age of danish design was from 1940-1970 in furniture design, and it stretched a bit into mid 1970’s in jewellery design, looking at classics from example georg jensen.
The 70ies are back in fashion - in all fashion magazines you see a lot of suede, fringes and an overall hippie-feel, which goes along the danish FDB mentality of great design being for everyone.
The FDB classics are now sold to an higher price and has gotten a more exclusive makeover.

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
jewellery
After having decided on weaving I looked at different types of weave in both fabric and furniture, and from that I made sketches of possible shapes for my collection.
I ended up with a simple triangular shape which was represented both in design museum denmarks textile exhibition and in their classic børge mogensen BM
